I wanted to share a little more of my adoption story. My initial post talks about how racism was the foundation of my adoption story. My birth mom was white and birth dad black. My bio mother tried her hardest to get her life together to keep me, but at the end she just didn’t have means. I have now met my both sides of my birth family and I feel like a lot of healing was done on both sides through that. How many of you met your birth families ?
